I went and picked up a box today from my backup bank, It was a fun box to open, it had a little bit of everything. 4-Enders, 1-Silver and 3-Proofs, 87 P&D don't always find them in the same roll next to each other, What are those odds? 18-Clad Proofs, 3-71, 3-76, 1-77, 1-78, 2-79, 2-80, 2-81, 3-82, 1-84. 9-GEMS, These coins are in wonderful condition for finding them in circulation, 1-71, 1-74, 1-78, 1-80, 1-84, 3-89. For the creme dela creme, 11 pieces of silver, 1-41 Walker, 1-50D Franklin, 2-64, 2-65, 2-66, 1-67, 1-68, 1-69. I truly enjoyed that box. Awesome ending to a week.

39 Rolls of half dollars. Found a ton of Bicentennials and some nice circulated coins. No silver. Not sure if I'm keeping any of them or not. First time the bank ever had any rolls on them! IMG_6932.JPG

I figured that when I first saw the teller bringing them out. I didn't let that bother me because she was happy to get rid of them and I'm sure she'll remember that next time I ask for change. Karma is the name of the game and let it be good Karma!

Even if they are good finds can still be found as collecting interest varies. There could be proofs, BU older clad of desirable dates, errors, 40% halves (a lot of silver searchers seem intent on edge checking or looking for coins dated 1964 or earlier), etc.

I got a quite worn 1912 and a not quite as worn 1926 and an ugly 1944. Tomorrow I sell this box. I'm not going 20 miles for another. So we will see what happens.

1 cu, to which I belong, would sell me only $100 in mwr halves today...odd, given I know they had more, and they charge a fee to members for depositing or withdrawing over $200 in coin per month. I know because I routinely go over the limit and incur fees (oh well, no biggie). The teller must not have realized he could have made fees from me because I asked to buy all the halves they had, but whatever.

1 impaired 74S proof in the rolls, so fairly smelly, but not a complete skunk!

    HH everyone

Picked up my first 2 boxes after carpal tunnel and cubital surgery last week. Had to be careful, especially with my right hand. Box #1 had a reverse ender, box #2 had a reverse Bender. Searched box #1 and found:
    1941 Walker
    1950 Benjamin
    1964
    3 x 1965
    2 x 1966
    2 x 1968-D
    1974-D DDO

    Box #2 is next.

Its been awhile but I picked two rolls up at my bank. It was all that they would give me. For the first time in a couple of years I found 4 40%'ers in one roll. It was enough to make me order a box.
