Guy's very soon I will turn the 53rd year of life's calendar over...I thought hey, why not! I bought this for me..a big splurge...but hey it's only a note right?? Hope you enjoy! This Series 1922 note is a high end AU maybe Unc...your thoughts are welcomed. RickieB
Beautiful - i love the fibers that are in those notes. I've been wanting one of these for some time but haven't splurged yet. Good for you RickieB - congrats and thanks for posting!
RickieB you never disappoint! That is one beautiful note Thanks for sharing. Oh Yeah, I forgot...Happy Birthday!
Your going to make me cry, I sold one of those with the same Speelman-White signature combo when I got married. (Speelman-White was the common thread for my large sized note collection). I owned all of the $50 and lower denominations and was working on the $100 and up. I had almost bought the 1907 $1000 gold cert at the Chicago Paper Money Expo when I realized I was totally overextending myself. Anyways, CONGRATULATIONS on the purchase.
Thanks guys for the comments...while it is nice, I really do like the $2 Battleship note better. As mentioned the notes will be for my son to have one day..and lets just say, I want the best for him... Nahhhh no over extension...paid cash... RickieB
Daggerjohn... I could not let this one slip by me...was saving for the "jacka** note" but will have to start all over. Between this and the $2 Battleship,,you can say that my bank has "sank" LOL RickieB
WOW That's all I can say!!! Looks like it was printed yesterday! Congrats - Birthday present to yourself? Nice!!!
You know RickieB I just had a great idea. Put that up as a contest prize. Maybe something like "who knows more about Fort Worth 295 errors". Just a thought and certainly not stacked in my favor. clembo
beautiful, absolutely beautiful. You are building one of the finest collections many of us will ever get to see, thank you for sharing them with us.
