On today's date, 1,964 years ago, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Britannicus,
Britannicus-Louvre.jpg natural son of Claudius and heir to the empire of Rome, "chokes" on some hot cocoa (a warm drink universally regarded as having been poisoned on Nero's orders) paving the way for the triple threat (singer, musician and actor. Why, what other kind of threat could he be?) Nero to be the undisputed ruler. As well as the last of the Julio/Claudian line (thanks a lot NerdO).

Thanks Bro DiMaggio. I always appreciate you sharing your magnificent coinage!
Not sure if I'm more jealous of your Messalina or your Vindex...nevermind, def your Vindex! What an amazing piece of history you own right there (he typed while wiping the drool from his chin).
I noticed my Agrippina missing from the op. Though I found her hanging out with one of the lowest dreggs of society, an actor! Yuck!! Here she is:

The way their bloodlines intertwined at this time, she was probably his MOTHER! :D

Late for the birthday party, but this one only recently arrived, and i am happy to show it:

Poor little guy. Having been killed by Nero and then, almost two-thousand years later scholars mix your head with that of your murderous half brother...

If only his father would be a bit more critical towards the ladies...?
