Hi there, totally new to this, but having a good time with it. I pulled this out of some pocket change the other day, and it looks like it might be a clip, but it still has the rim, so it looks different than most pics I’ve seen. The reverse is slightly raised where the clip is as well. Any opinions welcome, thanks!
Dang! My first thought was that it got run over by a streetcar, but figured it was worth a shot. Got another one. You can see a slight ridge at the bottom on the reverse. Is this a legit error of some kind? My guess would be a machine error, not a die error, but something that happened at the mint nonetheless. Possible? Thanks again!
