I don't find it as helpful as it once was.

I still use it, but without all the photos you used to be able to view, it's not as useful. Pricing and auction info is still good.

I used to use the old coinfacts just about daily. It helped me compare and learn grades of different dates and types. I used it to diagnose counterfeits on ebay for removal. I was able to determine if a coin was worth sending in by looking at other coins with similar grades. I used to find die markers on special coins like the matte proof Lincolns. I would often just enjoy all the eye candy.
If I were to say how I really feel, I would probably get banned.

It’s completely crippled now. I have read where they are suppose to bring back most of the images. Fingers crossed.

When I hover over the images to view an enlarged photo, the enlarged photo is the size of a quarter.

I used to use it all the time, now NGC is just as good. Plus I like how they break down the census of the grades.
Plus what a pain to get around, way too much clicking to get to photos.

Crippled is a good way to describe it. It was such a great tool. Years ago, I paid the $99 per year because it made it so easy to bring up the information.
I hope they bring back the images but I'll believe it when I see it. It's not all that important to most folks or PCGS.
I may be wrong but I'm thinking that some of the auction results are no longer showing.

If you click on the image it will open up to a view where you are able to get the Max size view which is about 5 times larger than a TrueView. The only problem is you only have access to 3 coins instead of up to 20+.

I paid the $99 also, but was refunded a good portion when PCGS changed it to a free site. I also agree with you when you say I'll believe it when I see it. I can't help but think they are trying to wait us out until we forget about it.

They still are showing auction results. I don't know which are missing if they are. There is an option to hide eBay auctions if you choose.

This particular page is from the 1868 BN IHC page.

The eBay, Legend, Heritage and Stacks ones all seem to work just fine. The Great Collections and David Lawrence ones seem to have stopped getting picked up a couple years ago. Not sure if GC and DL blocked the software from capturing them or it's some compatibility issue

It was great until they killed it.
Crackout dealers basically did it in.

I have always disliked the mobile version on Coin Facts. So I always switched to the desktop site while on mobile. Worked really well. The new site sucks, like they tried to make more like the mobile version. They made it condensed like the mobile version.

Goes back to "if it ain't broke."

Thanks for the link baseball, although in the back of my mind I knew there would be some ploy to get more submissions. Well done PCGS!
