WOW! for not being a currency collector... :D That is a nice low serial. I am also surprised at the price it realized and for the grade the note is in. But in an auction, current value is determined at the 'hammer' :) I am guessing the low serial only played a partial role, where the $2 star played the most?!

I just could not bring myself to pay that much for a star note, even with a low serial number.

    Still cool to see though.

i think my lowest serial is 00001600. It was my first graded note i ever bought. I forget the grade, somethin in the upper levels though. But even still, it didnt come close to this price.

But, hey - if snaz loves the note, then price doesnt play into it at all!

I am in accord with the group..a high price to pay for the condition that note is in...
The low 3digit SN is the driver for sure...hard center fold on that note..it appears to even break the paper!

A bit much for me but I can see someone picking it up if they could afford it. I'm sure it would catch someone's eye.
