Yup, went to the bank, asked for halves and they had $15 loose. I said Id take them and didnt expect to find anything in their loose halves. Anyhow, I did good.

Lol, every time I go to the bank and ask if they have any loose half dollars they're all from the 70's, usually showing signs of slot machine abuse. I've never had this kind of luck... why I never gamble, lol.

well I usually have better luck with the rolled halves than I do with the loose ones. But the bank doenst normally have halves. Today I asked on teller and she asked all the other tellers too. One teller had $6 worth, another one had $2.50, and another one had $6.50. Why do you ask for the loose halves and not rolls??? I have much better luck with the rolls, but then again, Ive never got a franklin before.

It's amazing how clueless they can be.

I haven't been in a postition to "roll search" latley but actually once went to a bank for halves.

They had ONE so I bought it.

    40% as it turned out.

Very good, now take back or spend the other $13.50 and repeat over and over again!!

Nice find...It's addicting...I know...I hit banks every day and hope to get just 1 keeper. Anything over that is a super bonus.

some people are just plain dumb, how can they not see that stuff for what it is. I am glad they are dumb because it gives us a chance to score big.
