Has anyone received any 2008 coins in change yet?

Has anyone gotten 2008 anythings??? I have seen Oklahoma quarters, but those were at a show in rolls, definately purchased. Anyone seen anything in circulation yet? Post pics too!!

Well I got a roll of Oklahoma quarters from the machine in the Denver Mint's gift shop, and just received two rolls of 2008 halves in the mail from the Mint lol... but I guess that doesn't count. I'll be placing them into circulation though lol...

Will keep my eyes out, the new year's coinage usually shows up by now, based on previous years. Was on a tour of the Denver Mint yesterday and can assure you they're minting tons of new pennies, literally...

Will let you know when I truly receive 2008 coinage in circulation without making any deliberate attempts to acquire any.

 

I received some 2008 D pennies early this week. Got a couple more today from a fast food store. Nothing like a shinny new penny.

 

Havent seen any 2008 coins here yet.

 

None here yet, they normally show up here in late Feb. early March for some reason.

No '08 coinage yet.

Can you ask bank tellers for specific year rolls? I usually grab a box or just a few rolls. But I wouldn't mind grabbing a few rolls of pure '08 Lincolns from the bank.

 

i got a couple of rolls of 08-d cents but thats it so far

 

I've seen nothing yet around here. We have a small convenience store here in town that seems to be the first to have the new stuff...even before the banks! I guess their minting process is a little faster...:whistle:

don't know if this qualifies as change but...............i picked up my 2008 prez bucks yesterday!!! yep i got my monroes!!

I got 1 08 cent out of a box I was searching. It was last week.

 

Haven't seen anything around Annapolis or DC area. Just waiting.

Have not received any "in change" so far, but a couple of days ago I picked up several Hamburg €2 coins (circulating commems much like the state quarters). Those were dated 2008 of course ...

who will be the first to post a pic of a 2008 cent? my guess is that the first 2008 dime can't be far away ... question is, who will find it and where?
