OP- take a look at "Couch Collectibles"! You'll cringe even harder at his clickbait drivel. One of the other members very eloquently named him "Potato Head". It's fitting!! He thinks going to videography school makes him an expert in Numismatics!

I figured that framing it in this context will actually help new collectors be more aware of the misinformation on YouTube.

People who otherwise would have believed the stuff is in a video like this can see how ridiculous it truly is.

 

I couldn't even watch 2 mins of it.... Very misleading and they are getting worse!

Help them? Get real! Do you realize how many people uneducated in numismatics come here after reading that BS and swear that they've been told the gospel truth from a "reliable source"? Come on! The best thing to do is to ignore it completely.

The only people that would see this thread and believe stuff said in the video are those who are...

A) Seeking attention (a.k.a. trolls)

B) Genuinely gullible and dull (these people would likely believe stuff like this no matter what the context is)

Every other sane person here will be pushed away from coin info on YouTube.

 

Don't worry guys, I already reported this video as "misleading" and provided plenty of evidence to go with it.

I'm a newby and was just thinking there should be a video to aid in learning the basics of coin grading. Does anything like this exist??
