Found these two $2's this past week or so. B18181118A I90977777A They were enough to catch my attention, but I personally don't see any premium in them. I'm going to throw them into the collection anyway due to their low denomination. Sorry I don't have a pic, but found another $2 that someone hand cut from a sheet (Series 1995 F997xxxxxD). Unbelievable how many of them are out there. Also found the usual star notes, AU-UNC 1976's, and another minor 3rd print shift which is appearing to be relatively common on the 1976 notes.
in the condition the 1976 is in, i doubt it would sell for a premium. If it was in a higher grade, only then maybe. It is a 2 digit serial, so maybe some day ... the 2003 has the 5 7's that might look good to a collector of 'lucky' notes. I do think the BEP was selling 4 '7's notes a while back, and this one has 5. IMHO, which is of little consequence , i dont think either would sell for much over face.
Man, they gotta hurt. That 18181118 one is really disapointing though, lol. I once found a note (still have it) $1 that's serial is 09090900, 9 notes away from a repeater. Oh well, I still think it's neat, and you got some neat notes there man, congrats! Phoenix
I tend to keep the $2 bills that come my way through circulation. No special reason and I know I won't get rich but it doesn't happen that often anyway.
