Meow has found this dollar bill recently. It has a fairly neat serial number with a star to go with it. Another addition to the Cat hoard!
Yes. I know it doesn't fit into any of the recognized 'fancy' serial numbers but i sure do like it. Maybe there should be a fancy designation for those serial numbers where the last digits (in this case 3 digits because 3 appears as the last digit) comprise a number (333) which when divided into the number before it (which must be comprised of the same digit - in this case 9999) result in the last digit - 3. That was really involved and very convoluted. But i like it and my brain really enjoys it.
Wow, OK. Meow did not see that far into it. What would the star at the end mean to you in this context?
Nothing to get excited about, average circulated condition. But that wont stop it from joining the Cat hoard!
Welcome to CoinTalk @BankNote ! I don't think that your serial number qualifies as 'fancy' but I am not an expert in this. I looks to be almost a radar serial number but not quite! I have spent time on these two sites below and perhaps you may find them informative, as well. http://www.coolserialnumbers.com/FancySerialNumbers.aspx https://www.pmgnotes.com/news/article/5901/Fancy-Serial-Numbers-On-Currency/
