There's a horse on the George Washington Commemorative (1982)?

Some related trivia: the depression cents, the 1931, 1932 and 1933 are the three lowest P-minted Lincoln cents.

Okay well since I seem to have stumped everyone...for the 13 years the triple Crown were won there was only 1 coin type minted....the Lincoln cent. All other denominations have multiples...buff and Jeff nickels, Merc and Rosie dimes, SLQ and Washies, Liberty Walking and Ben an John on the half

Reminds me of this race of mine. I should have beaten this scrawny horse... :(

What about 1922? Zero, so low that Denver had to make some for them. :)

My Mom passed away recently and I've been sort of down in the dumps even as I tried to be upbeat. But tonight when I came to check on this thread I got the BEST laugh! My first real guffaw since Mom died. Thank you so much. I laughed as I read all the posts. My face muscles hurt. @eddiespin, G-d bless you for your 'coin error.' It gave me a chance to see that I'm going to be okay!! Thanks to you and all my fellow CoinTalkers. :D:)

Love to watch those classic races. I have to check and see if there's a film of Carry Backs Derby win. (shows my age).

Oh @paddyman98, just great! Something else to look up and study. Cameo effect on a proof coin. It's gorgeous. It really does look frosted. Do you have any "cameos" minted before 1971? If you do, could we see? Your coins are wonderful.
