i have a coin that i can't place. it's copper head faceing right, around it is printed FRANC.ll.D.G.R.I.S.A.GE.HV.BO.REX.A.A. with a G under the head. on the other side is a two headed eagle with a 1 on its breast the date is seperated, on the left is 18 and on the right is 00.

The coin with that complete legend is Hungarian, but I can't find an 1800 1 thaler listed, so your coin may be Austrian, German, or Bohemian. Pictures of both sides and information on the diameter and weight would go a long way in helping to precisely ID it. The G mintmark on a Hungarian coin indicates Nagybanya; on a German coin of that vintage it would indicate Stettin in Pomerania (Prussia); for Austria it would be Gunzburg. The G seems to rule out Bohemia, as that mintmark was not used there. Franz II ruled from 1792 to Napolean's 1806 dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire. *In the sense of majestic, or awe inspiring
