    87D is worth 1 cent.
    38P is a circulated wheat. Looks like I'd expect after 81 years in circulation.

    Another Zincoln victim. I wish the people behind the "let's make coins out of an active metal plated with a less-active metal" idea could be prosecuted for fraud and made to pay for the damage they've caused to our economy and our environment, never mind our hobby.

    To answer your question the 1938 is a nice circulated wheat cent but the 1987-D is just another zinc cent suffering from plating bubbles.
