Overgraded 1926 D Buffalo 5c?

    The date is well worn and many details on front and reverse as well. Was this just a weak strike kinda year or is this overgraded in your opinion?

    The twenties saw a lot of weak strikes in all coins, especially buffalo nickels.

    Weak strike.....the grade is close to spot on give or take depending on a graded having issues with a coin less than full strike..... I

    I wouldn't have guessed MS, but the full horn is an indicator of a weak strike.

    I would call this a mushy strike....the luster is present ,high point details are poor at best.

    I have similar weak strikes of Buffalo's with similar grade. A 1913 especially weak.

    The 1926-D is the worst struck of all dates in the buffalo nickel series. A lot of circulated coins exhibit more detail than most of the uncirculated coins.
