"We did not have time to go through these" but then he rattles off a 1909, twenties, etc. How would he know if he did not look at the dates? Hmmmm
I did a little better when I paid $16.50 for this one (although the condition is not directly comparable).
I recently posted about 1982 d copper small dates selling on Ebay. Here is one https://www.ebay.com/itm/1982-D-sma...725813?hash=item5d94d1a535:g:klkAAOSwEhldo5D7 And here is one that sold but do not know actual price https://www.ebay.com/itm/1982-d-Sma...043178?hash=item36561e09ea:g:wiYAAOSwrCFdq1br
Rare error can - diet soda filled into a damaged 'planchet' at the canning plant https://www.ebay.com/i/172572874402...a2GZNvLN4DtgND0s5M3NGnmRsa7F8TtBoCBAoQAvD_BwE
I've reported 100s of ebay sellers and have been very successful in having them removed. I'm sure they just change their names and start all over again. These people are ruining numismatics and discouraging YN's from continuing their interests in the hobby. I was taken by an ANA member last November (2018) and he was reported to all the clubs he belonged to including the ANA who I was on the phone with witnessing his sales and the scumbag is still on eBay. He was and is still doing the "bait and switch" and eBay wouldn't allow me a return?
I know this guy has been talked about before but I just had to post this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1987-Comme...177618?hash=item2ad743e5d2:g:HXcAAOSwJLpddT6Y Read his description and look at the date on this coin. I asked this guy a question about this coin. I simply asked if this was artificially toned. His response was "Read the description"
2019-W NGC graded MS68 Texas ATB quarter hammers at $1334.00. Now that is ridiculous. It does have that special first release label. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2019-W-Tex...689127?hash=item5b626326e7:g:eNMAAOSwkARdrgz2
All of his silver coins stored in a concord grape winery? Well that explains the toning on all the coins, lol. I like a good Merlot, just not on my coins.
It says sold but he has 2 more listed one with a starting bid of $8.88 with $200.88 shipping and a buy it now price of $168.88 and $288.88 shipping, he must be 8. I told him I was interested if he would take a picture of it on a scale and lower the shipping costs.
To bad someone may actually buy from this seller, he has over a hundred more coins that are ridiculous.
Probably because they don't even have in their possession what they are trying to sell. BIN from another seller and drop ship to the person that won the phony auction.
This seller really needs to be gone. I'm unable to copy and paste the link for some reason? Ebay item #372817185509 "roosevelt dime muled bothside 10 cents reverse mules dime" $455.00 obo and 9 others including item #372817998569 "roosevelt dime muled reverse cents dime mules reverse have Lincoln face on it" starting bid $171.00 bin $2499.00. All 9 coins are ridiculous and I reported them all. I would mention the name of the seller but I don't know if it's proper etiquette on this site.
Is it a bad idea to post the ebay sellers name /store? Maybe publish a list of nefarious people? I don't like the idea of people being taken by bad sellers, and I know no one else here does.
Here's one I just simply love. Maybe I am too cheap. Or maybe I just don't have that kind of money. I don't know. This was just reduced $250! Even so, I cannot bring myself to even want it. I don't think I'd be tempted at $1. But, then again, I'm not a hardcore error collector. https://www.ebay.com/itm/223144467264?ul_noapp=true
