Don't forget he also buried homeplate, threw 3rd base into the outfield and literally stole 2nd base.
Does Kurt post on any other coin forum? One with an equivalent level of tolerance for numismatic pomposity?
** THE PROGRAM IS NOW AVAILABLE ON-LINE. ** WEEU-850 Radio has graciously made Kurt's January 21st appearance on Mike Faust's Feedback show available over the internet. Click the link below to listen: https://WEEUShows.podbean.com/e/feedback-jan-21-kurt-bellman-coin-expert/
I checked them all. No one has a bigger tolerance than CT. All the other forums are... well full of pleasantries. "Thank you", "youre welcome" "sorry".... its despicable. Coin Talk though... well it's like Animal House... bunch of loveable misfits
Wish XenForo wouldn't randomly stop notifying me of updates on threads. I didn't see the notice of online availability until just now.
Maybe all you need to do is select the "Unwatch Thread" option. There has to be some option you have enabled in order to be getting updates. I'm not getting any on any of the threads I watch or have replied to.
No, no, I've got "automatically watch threads" checked, and email unchecked, the last thing I need is more email. And usually I get notified when there's an update to a thread I've participated in. (I just got a notification for a thread on which I was the last poster -- in 2012. ) I think what happens is that I get a notification about a thread, and I somehow fail to click on it in my notifications list. (Maybe I was already reading that thread, so didn't feel the need to click it again.) XenForo batches updates, so if it notifies you of a new post on a watched thread, it doesn't give you separate notifications for further new posts on that thread. (That's good, otherwise a busy thread would blow up my notifications.) But if I never click on that last update, XenForo never gives me another. And as the thread recedes further and further into the past, I'm less and less likely to see it again. If I were on the XenForo team, I might implement an option to send updates (say) once per day per thread in this circumstance. That way, your notifications would stay under control, but you also wouldn't have to worry about threads disappearing from your view.
