Here is a couple of my favorite Lincolns!! Finally got some ok photos and wanted to share. 09 P V.D.B and 09 P these woodies look just rite beside each other.
First the V.D.B 20190130_204613.jpg 20190130_204744.jpg now without 20190130_204444.jpg 20190130_204820.jpg the big coin show is this weekend.
These 2 make me wanna sell all my silver and gold and buy more woodies.

I don't know. I don't collect Lincolns, but these don't look like Woodies to me.

IMO I wouldn't consider those as woodies, unless your photos aren't showing it.

Is that some doubling on the top of LIBERTY on the second coin?

There is a striped wood grain pattern on woodies.
    From an improperly mixed alloy.
    Nice coins though.

Try some threads here on woodies in the search box.

Looks like very fine grain on both these coins to me. I guess if your looking for tiger stripes then these dont fit the bill. What else would cause this grain effect other than improper alloy mix?

No matter what both are nice coins. I personally like the darker brown with hints of red like the second 1909.
