What can I use to See if this ever had the Initials on it, I can’t see the FG at all on this one

Maybe my eye just knows where it expects to see the initials. But it think I can see the faintest hint of them where they ought to be. Maybe a higher power magnifying glass?

 

it had them, they were just polished off..

 

Always show the entire reverse also.. Can we see it?

Yes.. Your Cent was struck with an Over-polished Die.
You have a Floating Roof Variety with missing initials.

So I see you asked to see the whole reverse to see if the Roof was floating. So for this Variety if the Roof is floating and the Initials are missing it’s Over Polished? And what if the roof is connecting and initials are missing? Thanks for your time and input
