    Looks like a hole in the head. Does not look like damage. It pushes out the reverse.

    Unless a serious chunk of the die broke away, it is post Mint damage.

    If it pushes outward on the reverse, then how do you think it could have happened at the Mint when two opposing dies are required to strike each coin, one for the obverse and one for the reverse?
