1994 D..... Whats up with pillars?

I don’t see a serif on the bottom of the G and am thinking maybe the top of the G took a little hit. I am looking on a cell phone so I can expand it only so much. You could try doing a separate post from this one that references the 88/89 coin and you will probably get responses geared towards this coin. People see the same title and probably overlook the thread as something they already saw.
