if you agree with me that his coins are badly over-graded and/or in the case of the ones he states are "finest known", he is misstating facts. He is either slabbing his own coins or paying someone else to slab them. But either way, the ridiculously high grades having nothing to do with the true condition of the coins. Clearly, he is trying to deceive unknowledgeable bidders. This is the type of seller who prays upon buyers who think they are getting bargains, but end up with bad deals, instead. Thanks in advance for any help you care to provide. I have already reported a bunch of his because he mentions NAC in his listing. Those will be pulled. Then he will relist them without the NAC. I know of nothing to report him for at that point. He is no different than centles or aboncom then. If you can tell me what to report him for (i.e. something that eBay will take action against), I will gladly add him to my list.
I think he can mention NAC, or whatever, as long as it's not in the listing title? As far as what to report him for (and granted, I think it's a long shot that Ebay will take action) my feeling is that the items are clearly "improperly described" in an attempt to deceive bidders. No matter what, thanks for your efforts.
Thanks and glad to hear that. Unfortunately, his images are allowed and they show coins in (bologna) slabs, which, to some extent, fool some of the uninformed.
When anybody reports this fellow, the folks at Ebay will be rolling on the floor laffin, they WORSHIP sellers like this. Unfortunate but true
I will bet he loses the better part of 100 auctions tonight or tomorrow morning - everyone that mentions NAC.
Ebay is laffin at me.....reported for intentionally misleading and misrepresentation of items to inflate value and price realized
Thanks DJCoinz, I know that he is just trying to mislead uneducated people by using this phrase. I reported him and also sent him a very nice personal message!
It means that if you buy it, it will be a permanent part of YOUR estate because no other sucker will ever buy it.
100% crook. I reported him and sent him a nice private message. This won't stop him though. This person has no morals.
I believe I've already questioned this seller. I believe I didn't get a response. I believe he's a scammer that knows how to skirt ebay rules. I believe Ebay loves him for his fees. Now Mark Feld, Pick out a particularly offensive auction if you would please. Provide a link. I propose a "question for seller" bombardment. May seem childish but if enough people ask questions in the right way it starts to wake up even scammers. Keep the questions clean and precise. Kinda like water torture.
lol there is a sticker on the back of one of the slabs that says "graded to qvc standards" and i reported also
The eBay police did not do much tonight. So far they have only pulled 4 of his auctions - the ones mentioning NAC.
Man those are some nasty looking coins. Even the blurry pictures show the scratches and cleaning evidence. Lots of bids. Fools and their money are soon parted.
