Help with Austria coin ID

    As I mentioned in my previous post I'm a newbie with these Austrian coins. Once again I cannot find any information about this coin. Any help with the ID and/or value will be greatly appreciated.

    This is a coin from Poland, not Austria. It was issued by Johann Casimir and the denomination is 18 groszy or 1 tympf. KM # 88.4

    Sorry I can't tell you more about these coins, but since I don't collect them, about all I can offer is what the book does.

    Just to add a little to GD's attribution. That one was struck at Posen Mint in Poland. Although it isn't in all that brilliant a condition it is still collectable, and there is usually a strong demand for these coins from within the Polish community in America. Almost always (at least when i've been looking) coins of that period attract around the stated KM values and sometimes better. Sadly, it's KM value in that condition isn't particularly high, but I suspect it would still get anything between $12 and $20, maybe even more on a good day.
