I need help identifying this more than anything. There are no marking on the coin. The Bezel, which the person we bought it from said also came from the mint, is marked 375, or 9kt. The coin tests 22kt gold in my X-Ray Spectrometer. I can see the edge through the side of the bezel, it has no writing or reeds.

It is pretty much locked in the bezel, would have to cut it open to get it out. The person I bought it from here in my store said he got it as it from the Royal Mint. May just be bullion, but from what I know, this was a release by the British government.

Wait, did you just say you have an XRF analyzer, my new and very good friend? :woot:

(J/K, I'm on the wrong side of the country to take advantage of you anyhow. But I have so many questions that an XRF gun might answer...)

It belongs to the family business, but I get to use it all I want. It is useful. A Niton XL2 XRF Precious Metal Analyzer. We also have a Precious Metal Verifier Pro for Bullion.
