1959 D error coin

Hi guys haven't been here in awhile. Been operated on sick but I'm better now. We found this 1959 D its small like a dime has obverse reverse ?? DD profile. Letters and scratches on the edge all kinds of stuff I don't know how to describe. Tell me something bout it??? Please.

I think it might be worth something.

 

It's not fake. It is a real Cent. Just Damaged. Circulation wear.

Another opinion, but the same one. Just damaged. Maybe intentionally filed down, but just damaged.

Yup. Unfortunately it’s just circulation damage.

 

Could've been ground down a bit to try and be used as a dime in a vending machine. Either way, all damage. Worth one cent.

 

I agree with damage. Could have been done to trick old vending machines or gum ball machines. People found all kinds of ways to trick them.

I see a lot of 59's that look soft with rims beaten over the letters like yours.
Still just damage.
