Can anyone identify this token/medal?

    No numbers or words anywhere on it. The stamp is straight through the coin (raised on one side and dented on the other) Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    It's probably what is referred to as a Jeton - a game piece , or perhaps it's a counting marker.

    If that form of stamping were done by hand on silver, it would be called Repousse.
    As this is not silver, it might be referred to as a Uni-face, bas-relief (one sided with a raised face).

    It looks to be copper and perhaps 100 - 200 years old. If its contemporary (made at the same time) to the style of dress of the person depicted, it could be 300 years or more old.

    All of the above is conjecture ( read : Maybe ! )

    One side is raised, other is indented.
