Going through some old coins I had in a jar for years now, given to me by my father. I’ve identified all of the others however this one has no information on it. Just a stamped head. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
See if you can find anything on the third side. This isn't a coin, it is a medal or token of some sort.
Just checked, nothing along the edges either. I’d hate to think it was nothing of value or importance, it was in the same jar as coins with pedigrees of a 1787 Connecticut copper coin as well as a 1835 Montreal Un Sou coin.
P.s. Re-posting your question as pertaining to a token might attract the attention of a person who specializes in tokens.
Some cell phones have the ability, if you take a pic, to offer up other photos similar or maybe spot on and lead you to links on it. I don't know how this works as I don't have a cell phone. Did it with a mineral I could not identify with someone's phone one time and found what I was looking for.
