S on a penny

    I found this penny in my change drawer. Was wondering why it has that big 'S' on the right side. Any help would be great. Thank you

    The Big S on your Cent was done deliberately after it left the Mint. It is considered damaged. Only the very bored person who created it would know why they did it.
