Well, I have to admit that I am not big on Note collecting but I was pleasantly surprised when I received a one dollar Radar Note in change tonight! The Serial Number is K19611691E and the Note is probably VF with some crumpling.

Thanks! If it was a Birthday surprise then it is about 3 weeks early. I will turn 55 on March 4th and no I am not a fishy person even if I am a Pisces! When I hit that magic number, it is smooth sailing as a Federal Government Employee because if anyone gives me any crap, then I can sing them that old Johnny Paycheck song.:D

Thanks all! I have tended to shy away from collectible Notes partly because I am not that knowledgeable about them and also because they tend to distract me from my main hobby which is collecting Error coins. Now, I will have to find a place to store them so i will know where they are. In the past, I have tucked a few here and there in my Coin Books and in the console of my Pickup Truck and I end up forgetting about them.

I also received a nice Star $1 Note today in change as well! The Serial Number on it is B11232157* and it is probably about the same condition (VF crumpled) as the Radar Note.

Man, when you find stuff, you find stuff, rotfl. :D Sweet finds man! :thumb: Hmmm, March 4th, that's exactly one month before mine, lol. Neat coincedence. I'll have to keep that in mind. ;)

wow! in change even! i bet this will help that infection that is growing inside you - you know, the urge to collect paper :D

Oddly enough, that infection started a long, long time ago but it actually grew and continues to grow outside of me! You see, I write myself notes about things for sale as well as names and telephone numbers of coin contacts or Coin Dealers and put them in my pants pocket. When they become a burden to keep in my pants pocket, I will then transfer them to my coat's three pockets, then later I will sort and keep some in a drawer and toss the others. If these notes would have been actual paper money notes (bills), then I would be rich. Someday, I will build a fire in my fireplace and burn all of them!
