I pulled a 1946 dime out of the money we collected for Jerry's Kids last Labor Day at the fire department. They came out ahead in the end, I replaced it with a dollar bill.
The only thing i have done like that was at a Dunkin Donuts. I say a 46 silver dime in the kids tip cup. I reached in and said ill take that. lol replacing it with a dollar. The " coffee attendant" just looked at me like hey thanks. In my head i was thinking ,, NO NO .. thank you.
