What would you guys grade tis coin as? The colors look slightly weird, but the detail is amazing. Also, what could this be worth? Sorry if it's a bit blurry, the coin still hasn't arrived from eBay. Thanks!
not a rare date, better date but not rare. The rare/very scarce dates for CC's are: 1870, 1871, 1872, 1873, and 1875 is a better date.
No I have an idea of what it is worth, but I just want to get expert advice. I'm saying this coin is around high VF (probably VF30), and worth around $140.
Probably asking what it is worth graded. OP likely got this for what he assumed was a good price, and wants to know if he could flip it for a decent profit
Looks like a strong VF, but the photos don't really show the surfaces well. The untoned spots on the rim leave one with questions. I'd say if you get it and it's really nice, you can say, I gambled on EBay and won.
Not rare at all. There were 9 CC's minted on this series and this is the 7th highest CC mintage. There were 494,000 minted. Of all Liberty Seated Quarters minted this date and mintmark rank 75 out of 111. Fairly nice looking except for those untoned white spots. VF-30 would be my quests.
