Painful process. Site overloaded. Five-ounce coin already on backorder until May 1.

Quite shocked that's on back order, but the Kennedy isn't yet. Same mintage for product itself. Did they only actually make a few 5oz and just waiting to see what the demand was?

That was fast... what about the 5 oz giant pucks is it that attracts you guys ?

Yeah, the failed over completely, then came up enough to accept my order, but it's still failing intermittently. Don't know if it's people cramming in because they don't have the news yet on the pucks, or whether they're still gobbling up the half sets, or whether the other coins are generating significant demand as well.

Half sets still available, 20 minutes in. Maybe fewer people balk at "three times melt value for silver" than "54 times face value for clad".

You think you can turn 4K into 6K basically ?

Someone in here said the Mint had a hard time getting enough planchets for the 5-ouncers...

Not sure it will be THAT good of a flip.. but hoping to make something on them, for sure.

I could see errors coming on on a concave coin. As they look for all the small problems, they will miss something. Big win for a lucky someone
