very nice, I purchased one for my growing set of commems just a few years ago. I think commems are going to start heating up again.
That was the first old commem I bought years ago...have since sold all those and I must admit, I miss em! Nice coin you have there! RickieB
Thanks you all. Carl1949, if its an ms-62 like I think it might be. Its about $80. i have a Long island that I got last year. It is real nice. i'll post it soon.
Craig, Thought you would like seeing my Stone Mountain. This one is the best out of the ones that I have. What do you think about them. Condition, etc. Also including a Columbian Exposition 1893 that is pretty cool. Can anyone tell me why my images show up as a link rather than the picture of the coin itself. Maybe I'm making them too big. I resized them on where it said for "message boards". Maybe I need to use the thumbnail size.
On photobucket after you generate the html, you cut and paste the links for the image board. From your post it looks like you are using the wrong links. Usually they having something like IMG and /IMG (these are enclosed in []'s). So generate the html from photobucket and give it a try. You can edit your last post and just drop the code in.
Mark, thanks for taking the time to make these suggestions. However, I am still having trouble. This is what I am doing: 1. download photos from camera to laptop 2. edit images and transfer them into My Documents 3. open photobucket and upload images into my gallery 4. open cointalk and begin to make a new post 5. open another tab for photobucket 6. click on the image I want to display on cointalk 7. Now I have tried it both ways, either drag the image to highlight it and then copy and paste into already opened cointalk post box...or just click the image...copy it and paste into cointalk. Both ways produce similiar results. In my gallery on photobucket under the image I am trying to place on cointalk I do see an html code. I just don't know what to do with it. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
by George I think I've got it!! Here goes again! Craig...I'm not trying to "steal your thunder"...just trying to finally figure out how in the heck to post pictures correctly. I'm getting better. Let me hear from you.
