Both feared and worshipped, crocodiles were also part of public entertainment in Roman arenas. They also featured in the art of ancient Rome.
This thread is a typical example of someone screening a coin to get information and price guide before they place it on ebay. It was listed this morning.
And what is the problem with that? I have made many hundreds of contributions to this forum over the past 10 years. Grow up.
Do you know enough about that coin to tell if it is genuine? Does your reputation mean so little to you that you can sell it to a beginner who trusts you? It is never safe to make such judgments based solely on photos which can make good coins look bad and hide evidence of fakes. Sell the coin to an ancient coin specialist dealer who will see it in hand and know what it is. Such listings on eBay is why eBay has a bad reputation. Amateur to amateur sales are fine as long as both parties know they are not dealing with someone whose expertise can be assumed.
