2000 penny what type of error is it ?

    That looks like severe post mint damage. What confuses me though, is the sharpness of the rim.

    DEFDAM = definitely damage. PMD post mint damage.

    I will say Struck Through Greaser on both sides..
    Here are examples from my collection -

    I have one that has the issue on both sides but I have to wait until I get home to show you the file which I am missing at the moment.

    Maybe some few minor scratches and some gunk but that is only because of circulation.
