I was told that there is a very large coin show at the end of the month in Baltimore. Apparently its 1,000 plus dealers to be there. Was curious if anyone is planning on attending the event?

I am saving up for a coin show in Boston in March. Only happens twice a year. Only one right now I am going to. What is the name of the show in Baltimore?

    Regards,

    Hi all:

I hope to, if I can get my wife or son to drive me up there for a day!

I will be there along with thousands of others. Even though it sounds like it would be very crowded, it’s usually very manageable. Yes, there are around a thousand tables. It’s called the ‘Whitman Baltimore Coin & Currency Convention’. Check out Treashunt’s link above. The show is free but you need a photo ID to be admitted to the floor. They have almost everything you could want in a coin & currency chow. I have even seen Civil War photos and autographs. I highly recommend the show, it’s very entertaining, and Baltimore is a beautiful city.

Baltimore is an awesome show. I did it for a long time but just dropped it from my schedule. It's the biggest commercial coin show in the country.
    It's 3 times yearly.

An added bonus, if you are a CHARLIE CHAPLIN fan is the Baltimore Symphony is doing a live music showing of the great 1931 film CITY LIGHTS. Anyone who has seen this film knows what wonderful music Chaplin compoosed for it.

This is a really rare opportunity, seats are still available. http://www.bsomusic.org/main.taf?p=1,1,1,3&PerfNo=5550

i am probably going to go on saturday. I think it will be a great learning experience for me. But if any of you would like to meet up that would be a lot of fun. It will put some faces to names and would be a good time. I am in for a saturday meet up. Lets get a list going.
