I need a different strategy

Sounds like you are into silver coinage. Don’t invest just have fun with it. Maybe pick a good starter series like Franklin half dollars or pre-64 Roosevelt dimes or silver war nickels, etc.. That part is totally up to you. Create a want list and max price you are willing to pay and begin the search. Perhaps have an initial goal to buy a certain number of coins or spend a certain amount per month. I also advise people to sell coins too and get the feel of how it is to let go of some coins as well. Good luck! TC

I'm making note of all the generous recommendations you guys are making. I will apply these to my searches. Right now, I am focusing on silver and foreign coins. And I will see how the variety turns out.
