    I have the ever popular SPOOT token "if anybody attempts to tear it down shoot him on the spoot" and I have the correction token to compare. Part of History I love. Check your collection.     There is the one variety of SPOOT token, there are something like seven or eight varieties with the correct spelling.

    thank you I didn't know that part . I got this Spoot from a coin seller at a flea Mkt. I asked to see the "stack" of flips containing civil war tokens and there it was .."spoot" I had to have it. The seller was unaware until I paid and had it in my hand. I know they aren't worth much but I love it just the same as my 1799 cent.
