1943 wheat penny looks like a little copper in this penny ?

    That's just tarnish. The steel they used was not stainless, so it did rust slightly if it was in the right conditions. Juts a normal steel wheat penny.

    Welcome to Coin Talk.
    It may have been stained, painted, to look like copper. A lot of these were faked.
    It could also just be natural tarnish from storage.
