I changed the rule on gold. You can play any gold coin to follow any cold coin. We kept getting stuck. This keeps things moving.
Gotta post this one while I still can, think I'm going to sell it soon since it's a duplicate and I just have too many coins on my want list. Maybe I'll sell the other IHC but that's a beauty too sigh it's so hard to let go of these I could never be a dealer lol
Sweet toner. What's the grade that PCGS gave it? My guess from the pictures is MS 65/66 RB but hey, what do I know.
Yep, although I wish it was a MS! I also wish this was the case lol I just have two IHCs total the other is an MS one but for my type set goals just having two is a duplicate. Currently working towards a 7070 type set (can see my progress in my sig line) then expanding it out from there.
Whoops, sorry for the brain fart... NOT my parental grandparents... I'm not even sure what that would be, a parent's grandparents, or grandparents that raised their grandchildren because their kids were incapable? I meant to say I received the 1859 IHC from my grandparent's on my father's side.
Actually, I received a small box of coins, including about half an album of IHC's (more or less the same condition as the above), when my paternal grandmother died. She had never mentioned coins to me before, so I'm not sure if they were hers or my grandfathers (he died before I was born). I did find a few coins that were dated after my grandfathers death, but most of them were dated before his death. Anyhow, a few years ago I decided to finish off the album (not including a 1909-S, as the price is fairly substantial even for a low grade one). I had fun doing it. Given that most of the missing dates were later dates, I generally went for UNC's.
