Please Help Identify

    Does anyone know what someone was tring to replicate when they did this, the right size shows more of the real colors, the left was the best out of the bad pictures I took?

    Howdy eric - Welcome to the Forum !!

    If the right side is close to the real color they were trying to make it look like a Spanish colonial gold cob. It isn't, but you apparently know that.

    Thanks for the reply. It's a nice piece of work. They did a very nice job on the replication but I knew it was fake when I saw it was gold soldered to the anchor. Picked it up at a pawn shop for $50 a couple years ago.
