So I got my Uncirculated Bald Eagle Commemorative $1 yesterday. I must say that the design is absolutely fantastic! It's one of the nicest designs I've seen on a U.S. coin. The engraving of both the obverse and reverse is masterfully done. My wife even said, "Wow...That's really nice looking!" and she rarely says anything about my coins, so it must be nice! At any rate, I just wanted to share my thoughts.
Received mine as well, and I have to agree. Really like the design. I also purchased the unc and I'd like to hear from others who have received both the proof and the unc, which do they like better. I'm tempted to buy the proof dollar now!
