It's not surprising what you can find on circulated coins.

CA not a cud as they only are cuds if they include a portion of the rim. Minor die chip.

Someone please tell me about this 1980 d dime. The tree on left side is sticking up from the coin more than normal.

DW - your dime has environmentally damaged surfaces - corrosion.

Not an error coin of any type

ED or environmental damaged as stated.

Environment damage would not cause the rising of the tree on left side of the coin as you can see

The reverse (at least) has been heated,
which causes the raised surfaces on the clad
    planchet.

Not an error, all damage, including enviormental
    damage to the surfaces.

You posted photos and asked a question. We answered based on what you said and the photos you provided. From the CT members that responded you have over 150 years of combined experience all telling you the same thing. Yes we can tell by photos. If you don't want to believe us them take your coin to your local coin shop.

Definitely damaged by heat, it doesn't matter where the bubble forms, it doesn't raise the whole surface. In the case of your coin, the area under the olive branch bubbled up.
