Callers get four minutes no more than five to make their point. We have guests from time to time on different topics. We also take the show on the road where callers get to interact with the host and his guests. They also get a chance to win a prize from the WEEU goodie bag. If you have an opinion on something and you want to talk about it, pick up your phone and give us a call! The contact numbers are (610) 374-8800 or toll-free 1-800-323-8800.
A brief NYINC "wrap up" perhaps? Wow the audience with attendance numbers and a SWAG at the $ involved in a show like this.
The auction results were absolutely INSANE, on the high side. Many lots went for MULTIPLES of the estimates in the catalogs.
I did the show as my county's Director of Elections, in 2003, but that was before my stroke. In those days, I was "earning" my stroke. Election admin is a ROUGH field.
Maybe touch on the importance of getting young folks involved in the hobby...... Heck, I need to see my coins to somebody someday!!..... Seriously, I think young people finding joy in the hobby in this digital age is important... To me anyway.
Yup, and you guys KNOW I'm a big fan of the club style, and Reading has a nice one, as well as having Red Rose on the southern end of their broadcast footprint. Harrisburg is a bit outside of their broadcast.
If you're who I think you are, yours was the very first Numismatic Theater talk I attended at my first ANA show. New York City at the Marriot Marquis.
I'm not that BC........disappointing I know. I do have this advertising medal I received as a gift from SkyMan. I can understand the confusion.
Cool! I actually collect "dealer advertising medals". I got two cool ones from Allen Berman at NYINC - his Bermania transit token and his "tickle token".
I hope you'll dedicate at least a half hour to discussing Lincoln cent errors of the 70s, 80s and 90s.
1st dog I ever had was a Corgi. Got a Winchester 1200 pump shotgun for Christmas when I was 12. Chopped cotton for my Dad the next Summer and saved enough money to buy an English Setter pup. Been with them ever since. Anyway the real point of my post - found out a couple of years ago the English Setter is on The Kennel Club's endangered breed list. Your post informing the Queen no longer breeds Corgis made me think of it.
