Is this normal for 1974 dimes?

    This dime looks the the letters are very close to the rim on the front and there is some obstruction. Is this normal?

    Thank you all for all your help. I'm new and learning alot here!

    The obv. die was very very slightly mis-aligned.

    More of a minor anomaly than an error.
