1934 $100 plucked from circulation

    Yikes! Those pens aren't even supposed to be used on currency that old (ones that I have seen say that they're to be used on currency from 1957 or later, I think).

    Still a great find, especially at face value. Congrats! :thumb:

    a very nice find. dont worry about that security marker! from some posts by gatzdon, i think he has said they have faded and disappeared on notes he had with the mark.

    good thing it found a nice home :D

    Yeah, I have a 1950 $20 bill that a teller marked up quite a bit, then it took a trip to the Secret Service where it was pronounced Genuine. By the time I finally got it, the marks were completely faded. Unfortunately, it still has the name and date of the teller that sent it to the secret service written on it.

    Man, sweet find! Congrats man! I've heard that those marks go away after awhile, can always bleach it to get rid of it. :D :p J/K.
