I hate to tell you, but that Morgan has been harshly cleaned ! OOOhhhh.... But look at the cud on the rev of the SLQ !
The grease strikes on the buffalo and dime are sweet too. Shame on that Morgan, probably worth millions without the cleaning. Phoenix
Got to looking real good ,at the little penny;s .All Three are copper not silver.Anyone have any idea of how much something like this is worth per coin?Look's just like a real penny,but only a 1/4 the size...?
Maybe a buck or two on ebay, or the open forum here. Depends on if anyone wants them I think. I'd keep them though, they are neat. I got a half dollar that's even smaller than them. Phoenix
I have a set or two of these mini coins - cent through half or maybe dollar. Mine are packed in a2x2 with some rubber stamped text that implies that this is what Nixon's presidency has done to the value of the dollar, etc. The ones I have were political novelties, but they could have been packaged any other way for another purpose as well. Value? About 0, or whatever you can get on eBay for them.
Hi I have a 64 Lincoln, 38 buffalo, 72 Ike, 78 Wash, 14 Merc, and a 74 Kennedy. Tell me, should they be cleaned? How do you handle them... by the edges? Do they have albums for them? Are you going to try to get type sets? I have always liked miniatures. jeankay ;o}
14 Merc? Or did you mean 24? I wouldn't clean them, unless they have something wrong with them. Like corrosion or such. Other than that, I'd say no. Yep, hold them by the edges, along with any other coins in your collection, to prevent fingerprints and such getting onto the surface of the coin. Not sure if they have albums for these, but they might. Best of luck collecting! :thumb: Phoenix
