Do you think this coin will cross over to NGC, The coin has good lustrous look but the toneing looks like a dipped coin that wasn't neutralize after dip, so it shows up years later. Heres a picture of coin. 20190117_095355.jpg 20190117_095412.jpg

It looks like it will grade straight MS63 or 64

It will probably grade, but you will have to break it out and submit it raw.

Not true, unless they changed their policy. I've sent PCI for them to crossover as recently as December 2018.

Crazy! Well, they must be making exceptions for my PCI coins.

the way I read it was they would break it out of a slab other then pcgs but would grade it as a raw coin.

Unless there was a recent change that I didn't see PCGS will allow cross overs from any slabs. When they run a special for it though the special is limited to NGC/ANACS/ICG.

That is what NGC will do if it isn't PCGS, which is why you might as well just send it raw especially when it isn't in a truly sealed slab anyway

You can submit it to NGC in the slab as long as you have a signed authorization form to remove coins from sealed holders. It's not a crossover, just a regular submission with crackout authorization.
