Is there an easy trick to identify DOUBLE EAR cents

    Good evening,
    Just began to look for the double ear Lincoln cent variety. At first, I thought I'd found some, but then realized it was the curl around his ear. Yes, I've looked at pics on line and read about it. I have found the best way, is to ask you folks if you have a special trick or technique y'all use when looking for the double ear?

    Look for an extra lobe below the earlobe

    1) learn what doubled dies look like vs what md is.

    When you can tell what doubling characteristics are, you can generally apply it to any portion of a coin.

    2) I hope you find one. I have not.

    Thanks so much folks. You have definitely helped me out. The diagram and pics were most helpful. Looking for these double ears have been a bit tedious for me.
