Help with coin ID

    Hope I am posting this in the right "forum". Found this coin relic hunting. It is in very sad shape. From what I can see; it is a person standing on a castle holding a spear and a long knife (upper right) the reverse side has , what looks like Greek or Roman lettering.     If you could possibly discern some of the Lettering, it would be helpful. It is difficult to determine from the 2nd Pic.

    Knowing the lettering, I'd search en.numista.com and look for the depiction of the man with a staff in the Upper Right Corner... sometimes you just have to put in what you know and search through some pages until you see what you're looking for!
